JOB dESCRIPTION:


Oracle Database Administrator Duties and Responsibilities 

•Help design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases in On-Prem/Cloud 

•Troubleshooting DB Issues arising due to Operational Maintenance. 

•Knowledge in SQL/PL-SQL, PostgresSQL, Python, Powershell  and other shell scripting 

•Manage and Administer Backup, Restore Data for the Databases. 

•Identify and troubleshoot performance issues  

•Maintain information security for the Databases. 

•Perform Upgrade and Migrations of the Databases as and when necessary. 

•Experience in Migrating the Databases to Cloud Platform. 

•Maintain and Adherence to Compliance Policies and Standards 

•Perform Periodic Patching and Maintenance Activities for the Databases 

•Provide database support to employees as needed 

•Provide On-Call Support and availability whenever needed. 

Oracle Database Administrator Requirements and Qualifications 

•A bachelor's degree in computer science strongly preferred 

•Experience in SQL,PL/SQL. PostgresSQL, Python, Json, Shell Scripting, Powershell and other Shell Scripting 

•Proficient in Oracle database architecture 

•Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems and Cloud  

•Certification in Oracle database administration a plus 

•Analytical skills 

•Technical communication skills
