Implement, support, and continuously improve Air Canada digital applications through quicker development cycles, safer and more secure: code repository, automations, backlog management tool, DevSecOps tools, etc. Maintain code branches along with integrations of code across multiple branches Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve development constraints and deployment issues Maintain and update technical documents and procedures related to the applications developments and automations pipelines Develop Operational Runbook with Procedures for the Operations team that describe step by step how to deliver certain operations on the platform Define and enforce technical standards for quality, maintainability, scalability, availability, and security Undertake technical feasibility assessments of proposed solutions based on current technology constraints Provide technology and services ownership direction on all matters related to this area to associated functional leads and peers Create diagrams, user flows and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Strong experience with web development (Angular, React) and accurately handling Microsoft stack of T-SQL queries, C# server code, and ASP.NET technologies and .NET Core Microservices based architecture. Hands-on experience with Azure technologies: Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server (TFS) environment, CI/CD deployments, GIT, Agile, Scrum Software Development methodologies. Knowledge of API-related formats (XML, JSON), protocols (SOAP, REST, HTTP action verbs) and specifications (RAML, WSDL, Swagger, OpenAPI) Hands-on experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, with an ability to analyse query performance and optimization Experience with authentication and authorization frameworks (OpenID connect, oauth2.0, Amazon Cognito) Unit testing using xUnit, Experience with Test Driven Development Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies Experience as a Technical Lead Experience with mobile applications development (Android & iOS) is a plus but not required (1.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (3.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations. (4.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
